# Referrals

> Earn a share of the trading fees generated by anyone who signs up with your link.

Miramarket pays you a share of the trading fees your referrals generate. Share your referral link, and once someone signs up through it, you earn a percentage of the fee Miramarket collects on every trade they make, for as long as they trade.

## Get your referral link

Open the account menu and select **Referrals**. Miramarket creates a unique code for you the first time you open it.

Your referral link looks like `https://app.miramarket.org/?ref=YOURCODE`. Select **Copy link** to copy it, then share it however you like.

## How it works

1. Someone opens your referral link and signs in. Miramarket remembers that they came from your code.
2. They finish setting up their account and start trading.
3. On each of their trades, you earn 30% of the trading fee Miramarket collects.
4. Your running total shows up in the **Referrals** dialog under **Earned**.

A referral is one-time and permanent: the first code someone uses is theirs for good and cannot be changed later, even if they later see a different referral link. You cannot use your own code.

If someone gives you their code after they have already signed up without one, they can enter it directly in the **Referrals** dialog and select **Apply** — as long as they have not already bound a code.

## Payouts

Miramarket pays out earnings automatically on a weekly schedule, once your balance clears the minimum payout amount. Payouts are sent in pUSD on Polygon to the wallet on your Miramarket account — there is nothing to claim manually.

Check **Payout history** in the **Referrals** dialog to see each payout and its status:

| Status      | Meaning                                                            |
| ----------- | ------------------------------------------------------------------ |
| **Pending** | Reserved for the next payout run.                                  |
| **Sending** | The payment has been submitted on-chain.                           |
| **Paid**    | The payment is confirmed.                                          |
| **Failed**  | The payment did not go through and will be retried in a later run. |

Earnings below the minimum payout amount carry over and combine with future earnings until they clear the threshold.

## Track your referrals

The **Referrals** dialog shows:

* **Your code** and referral link
* **Sign-ups** — how many people have used your link
* **Earned** — your total earnings to date
* **Paid out** — how much has been paid to you
* **Pending** — earnings not yet paid out
